MicroFlow cung cấp giải pháp đo vận tốc không tiếp xúc cho các kênh mở. Sử dụng MicroFlow làm thiết bị độc lập để đo vận tốc đơn giản hoặc ghép nối với Đầu dò siêu âm dB để có hệ thống đo vận tốc diện tích hoàn chỉnh. MicroFlow cung cấp một giải pháp thay thế hiệu quả về chi phí cho phép đo lưu lượng kênh mở khi thủy lực của địa điểm không cho phép để lắp đặt PMD (Thiết bị đo chính) hoặc nơi không có chỗ cho việc hạn chế kênh.

Các cảm biến đo lưu lượng tiếp xúc yêu cầu hệ thống ngừng hoạt động trong một khoảng thời gian để cho phép cài đặt, giải pháp đo vận tốc không tiếp xúc MicroFlow được gắn đơn giản ở góc 45 độ so với kênh, không cần phải làm gián đoạn hoạt động.

Đối với các kênh mở rộng dưới 1,5 m (4,9 ft), MicroFlow sẽ hoạt động như một cảm biến độc lập. Đối với các kênh mở rộng hơn 1,5 m (4,9 ft), MicroFlow có thể được kết hợp với hệ thống điều khiển dBMACH3 và FlowCERT. Ngoài ra, khi yêu cầu nhiều hơn một đơn vị MicroFlow, cảm biến đo vận tốc có thể được kết hợp với dBMACH3 và Bộ điều khiển cuối cùng.
