Pyrometer in the process of concrete production

Stationary concrete mixing machines produce huge amounts of concrete, in many cases also special concrete for building applications, as for example for bridges. The process temperature of concrete plays an important role and can have an impact on safety, therefore records must be kept to a certain extent, so that temperature can be traced at a later stage. Environmental conditions are adverse and demanding for pyrometers; the optic, as well as the housing, are exposed to dust, fluids and to partially aggressive vapours.

Proxitron special pyrometers are housed in a robust stainless steel casing, have a resistant optic, and can be used, with the appropriate accessories, in areas with up to 200 °C.
